    The Laffer Curve simply asserts that at a tax rate of zero, government receipts will be zero, and that at a tax rate of 100%, government receipts will be zero. Gasbag loves to throw "the Laffer Curve" around like it's some sort of evidence that he's a super deep intellect. We don't have confiscatory tax rates now. No one--not even the pretty girl--is proposing anything that is remotely confiscatory.
