The Pac 12 currently has a 7-18 road record...I mean WTF? This conference is going to get the conference tournament champ in and that's it. The Mountain West might get 2-3 in.
No need for the regular season. Might as well get 2 months of practice in and set up a round robin tournament where the winner goes. Why waste time?

You may be right, but at the same time if you merged the MWC and Pac this year, I guarantee the Pac would have the conference championship and another top 3 team.
Arizona hasn't been relevant for years. UCLA hasn't been relevant for 5+ years. UW hasn't been relevant for 6+ years(and we were only relevant for a small time period anyway), USC is USC. Both Cal and Stanford used to put up good teams every couple of years and haven't been seen since the last decade.
Something is obviously wrong with the talent on the west coast, or the complete shithouse hiring that Pac12 allows/maintains. Our leader larry scott has overseen a failed tv channel, a failed basketball direction and a football conference who has no representation on the national level vs the SEC. I think we should give him a raise and an extension.

Otherwise, we? suck.
Larry needs to pack his fucking bags.
But PAC won more national championships across all sports this year. Larry is winning.
