If you're wondering why we aren't after a local 4 star, it's because he's overrated by 247. He's a great athlete, but he's super raw. 247 tries to project NFL talent in their ratings, so they're probably valuing upside more than college teams. I think he's a slightly worse version of Treven Ma'ae who for some reason is rated lower by them.
He's still good though, I would try and get him if we don't get Latu
If he’s super raw and projects to the NFL why aren’t we trying to get him?
We need help at pass rusher now. We can’t afford to take on more projects that may not physically develop until 2-3 years from now, when there are still players available who provide more immediate contribution.

Everyone we take on is 2-3 years away at this position. Thinking anyone is going to have an immediate impact is stupid.

Since we don't want to pay for Kayvon, this is not happening. He's probably the only guy that could do anything next year.
It's not free agency. People really have to develop.
