Not sure what I think about this. Air Raid seems like a horrible waste of USC talent. But offense is @KkkliffKkklingsbury core competency and it sucks to have any competency at SC.

USC has great skill position players but will they continue to ignore the O and D line?
Sam Darnold beat UW rather easily with a conventional USC offense and the D played great that night as well
As long as SC keeps fucking around its all good. KKK got fired for a reason
I think @Meek is right tho, he's not staying there long.
They were able to trash the SEC back in the day because they were as big as the SEC on the line and had a better QB
Now the whole league is small and UW may be the largest once the last couple of recruiting classes mature

And I guess it's great that USC is embracing the modern offense, but I wonder if that will further feed their recent inclination to try to out-athlete teams with skill position guys instead of developing the lines. My initial take is that like WSU, when things are clicking they will feast on lesser teams, but there will be a few games per year when it's not clicking vs. a better defense and it gets shut down, despite (as always) having better players than their opponent.
