CFP was a pipe dream Good to dream big but we had no shot. We had a shot to win the pac-12, which in and of itself for this team would have been a miracle season. As much as UW fans want to believe they are upper echelon, they are not. They are cream of the crop in a conference that eats its own year after year. USC is the only school that can pull the type of recruits that you can develop into top tier talent to go after Bama and Clemson. Those two schools are showing how its done with recruiting and development and making it work. I dont know if they can keep it up year after year, but they are doing pretty good so far. If Peterson wants a shot at a national title he is gonna have to jump to USC. UW will never have the personnel to match up with BAMA or Clemson. It all depends on what he wants out of his career.
