Is the caravan still coming?

Funny how right after the election there's been little to no coverage of the migrant caravan. It's almost as if the only reason Trump was spreading fear about it was to rile up voters and there is no actual real threat to Americans.

It was democrats that made it a big deal. Now they can go back to not caring after they lost the election (again).

It's almost like the caravan issue didn't have the effect that most of the media had expected. Now the story is going the way of the Kavanaugh accusers...poof

Great news. They can claim asylum at a border crossing as planned, as is their right under US law, which was always the plan. Glad the “media plan” has been foiled.

Yes, but I have a feeling most if not all will be detained while the verdict can be made. This administration isn't going to allow for "catch and release", where 30-40% never show up for their hearings.

Sure. Trump voters voted for the economy. Dems wanted to demonize them by showing the poor children, because that's all they have left in the playbook.

It's weird how winning has become an embarrassment and humiliation in this country. Sad to see how far you losers have fallen.

A lot of them are giving up since Trump laid down the legit law of the land on asylum seeking.

Asylum seekers had a 99% compliance record before the program was ended last year.

    Program Costs and Performance Metrics
As of March 30, 2017, ICE reported that it expended $17.5 million in program costs to enroll 781 active participants in FCMP across all five locations. According to ICE, overall program compliance for all five regions is an average of 99 percent for ICE check-ins and appointments, as well as 100 percent attendance at court hearings. Since the inception of FCMP, 23 out of 954 participants (2 percent) were reported as absconders.

781 asylum seekers? That number actually sounds about the right number who would seek asylum. Now we see 10s of thousands “asylum seekers”. AKA people who are assembled and coached up to clash with the trump administration for political purposes. The left doesn’t actually give a fuck about these people. That’s the disconnect. Pawns in a larger game.
