The Cure is fairly outside of my wheelhouse. Tried to listen to a few cuts on the LP on Spotify and didn't catch my ear. But this is just one man's opinion.

I loved it in my late teens/early twenties

I was recently writing a very intense scene dealing with chaos and I listened to "The Snakepit" on repeat.

Fascination Street is the shit. Different album. Why Can't I Be You, Lovesong, Friday I'm in Love, Just Like Heaven, tons of good tunes. Horribly underrated in the pantheon of 80's bands.
