With Humprheys off the board, Jackson along with Rome Odunze are my next best WR’s. After that Gary Bryant, Ngata, & Hobert are the next tier underneath because of their lack of size that takes away from what they can do.
The weird thing will be if UDUB hits on Wilson & McMillan, if they even take a 3rd person, do they take their next highest ranked guy or do they take a smaller slot guy. It’s basically the same debate as do you take someone to fit a need or do you take the best talent available.
You never assume spots based off what level of talent is available in the next year’s class, but Emeka, Taj Davis & Trey Lowe are great slots and the coaches are already questioning if they’ll have room for someone like Jabez let alone 1 more this year.
Morale of this thinkpiece: Why/How the fuck did we? offer Logan Loya?

My guess is this is gonna be a lot like last year where they take their “3rd WR” (Rome/Josh)by the end of the spring and then we’ll see if they can actually close their top two targets this time (Wilson/McMillan).
Pretty sure unless he’s had a big change of mind, he’s gonna commit to USC or Oregon but still plan to take visits this spring/fall. Last month he was still talking about wanting to setup multiple visits for the spring and save his five officials for the fall. Based on recent trends at Narbonne and how bad USC has messed up the relationship with that school recently, I’d lean Oregon right now.

As pessimistic as I’d like to be I have slightly more faith in Jr than the CO leprechaun (st Patty’s day reference) and Jr doesn’t suck until he does.
He.Gone
But yea, WTF is he thinking??
This kid will open up his recruiting when Helton is canned in October
