The refs not knowing the clock stoppage rules when Peni got hurt was much worse.

Honestly, maybe Browning was trying to just convince the refs that was an actual rule (that you could attack and defend separate end zones in OT). They were certainly dumb enough on Saturday to potentially believe it.

I love how the refs almost marched a 5 yard offsides penalty instead of giving the huskies the ball on the kickoff fumble.
