To be clear, your window is closing two weeks from now. Oregon's 2019 class is #3 in the nation. The team will be amped for this game and show you what its like to play SEC ball. You will lose this game and get a flash of what the future of the PAC 12 is, and see the future title contender.MisterEm said:
From a recruiting sizzle fag like you, this makes no sense.oregonblitzkrieg said:
Your window is closing for now and UW too will have to submit to the cyclical nature of CFB. Oregon is on the march again, the sun is dawning on a new era in Eugene.HillsboroDuck said:
Even with a 25% success rate at hitting on a great coach that puts them likely to hire another one in the next 5 or 6 years.UWhuskytskeet said:
And before stumbling on Carroll, they has Paul Hackett, Larry Smith, and Ted Tollner. I'll roll the dice on the next fuck-up they hire.HillsboroDuck said:
Their alumni may be better than ours but they let them hire Kiffin, Sark and Helton consecutively.PurpleJ said:
Disagree. Their alumni aren't like ours. They will clean house until they win again and they aren't afraid to cheat either. I respect them.PostGameOrangeSlices said:PurpleJ said:
USC will be fine. They are the premier program on the west coast.PostGameOrangeSlices said:USC is in real danger. If they fuck up the replacement hire for Helton this season or next (no way the guy makes it beyond that), they could really be in trouble. We are already starting to land recruits with SC offers, imagine a few more NY6 bowls with the continuity of our coaching staff...
The only time they have done something in the last 10 years it was due to a transcendent QB who could dance around in the pocket for 3 minutes before a receiver finally got open.
They didn't do shit when Kelly was at Oregon, struggle vs Shaw, and now with Petersen at UW they aren't going to be doing any dominating any time soon.
Once the apathy sets in, it might be hard to climb out of that bog. Carrol was legit and the rest of the Pac was not during his reign.
Their alumni are nothing special.
We need to seize this window.
You're saying the window is closing while the recruit quality is going up? Every metric is clear in this point.
When you see more Kyler Manu or Jordan Chins on signing day, the window will be closing.

SEC teams give up 38 to Stanford all the time.oregonblitzkrieg said:

Last week.UWhuskytskeet said:When was the last time we led the conference in attendance?

So we'll average about 70,000 for the season and will be the first time we've led the Pac in attendance in a long, long time. 2000 was probably the last time for this.
-
Utah's capacity is 45,000, so they are over capacity which is great.
Autzen capacity is 54,000 so Oregon is fine too. They also had a terrible OOC schedule which didn't help. They did have a record attendance against Stanford.
WSU same thing (only 35k capacity).
But everybody is else is close to half capacity. That is a major problem.
Even OSU's stadium holds around 45K, so they are pretty low too. -
USC is the same as they’ve been save for the Carroll years. You guys are fucking idiots.PostGameOrangeSlices said:USC is in real danger. Outside of USC and UCLA, Washington should be tops in attendance. They are located in the second largest PAC 12 metropolitan area, and have the third largest stadium capacity.
-
1980s USC was a lot better than 1990's USC. They won the pac 5 times in the 80's compared to just twice for us. 1990's USC was fucking terribleDennis_DeYoung said:

Wishful thinking by doogs like @PostGameOrangeSlices to think that USC won't be back. It's a matter of when, not if.

They just need a good coach and they will win the conference rather easily and be a national contender. It's science and shit. Hell, they still won the conference last year with a coach all the fans hate. Again, I want to reiterate how much I respect them. -
I never said they wouldnt be back dumbfuck. I was saying that if they fuck up the hire after Helton a resurgence could really be delayedPurpleJ said:Wishful thinking by doogs like @PostGameOrangeSlices to think that USC won't be back. It's a matter of when, not if.
