At least Don James was a lot better against the Pac than Terry Donohue.

Plus, the 1991 team was just that much better than 1990. Sure, the USC & Cal games were close. But, you're not going to blow everyone out every Saturday.
As for the Cal team, Bruce Snyder had done a good job putting together a GOOD program.
Total side note: Brent Mussberger was totally sucking off Cal during the broadcast. I've hated him ever since.
