Well according to @oregonblitzkrieg if you show flashes against Stanford you're basically a national title contender. So our 44-6 win in 2016 over Shaw is easily then the biggest win in the recent history of the Pac 12.

Well according to @oregonblitzkrieg Sav'ell Smalls if you show flashes against playoff contender Stanford you're basically a national title contender.

I saw the same potential he and other top level recruits saw in that game. Herbstreit was comparing us to the 2010, 2012, 2014 teams and Smalls loved the SEC ball. We aren't there yet, but those flashes of greatness suggest we're on the way back again. I've increased my expectations this year. Running the rest of the table and a top 10 finish is doable for the 2018 team.

We've only been worthy of it for the past 3 years. And when we were last good (i.e., 2000) Game Day didn't head out west.
