I posted on this below – but it was largely ignored. So, we will go at it in a different fashion. The federal government has spent hundreds of billions of dollars on “education” in the last several decades. So, what have we got out of this massive intrusion by the federal government into what should be a state and local matter? Better readers? Better mathematicians? Nope. A bloated federal and state bureaucracy to push make work paper back and forth? Yes. An indoctrinated citizenry that is enticed by socialism? Yes. An economic illiterate citizenry, yes.

So progressives. Make your case.

    You really tried this twice?

Isn't it easier to just bitch about socialism?

The Throbber has changed his stance. Government vouchers for private school, including uniforms.

There was a strike and sit-in at Garfield today that was supposed to be about protesting the loss of a couple positions since district enrollment dropped more than 700 kids this year, after a decade of explosive growth. It all turned into a bitch-fest about racism, white privilege, and the usual anti-white, anti-male SJW shit. I'm sure several teachers in attendance were proud as can be of the useful idiots they've brainwashed instead of educating. And this all happened after the entire union got a raise of over 10% per year. Are teachers underpaid? Fuck No.
