What will it take for Bush to be better than Babushka?

Or rather, what do you need to see from the offense for the rest of the season to be content with this hire?

Consistent play-calling that keep drives alive. Just keep picking up first downs. Don't feel that you have to get cute with a deep pass or a trick play near the 50 yard-line, when the offense is in a rhythm otherwise.

In short, do what works & don't ask Browning to do things that are beyond his abilities.

Play calling will improve. Still Pete's offense though. I stand by my position that Pete needs to spend serious money on a quality OC and let him do his thing. Then Pete can do what he does best which is be a CEO.

More triple passes that result in interceptions.

I know you are being sarcastic but it was a double pass

I need to see the UW offense win a big game.

Stop going 3 and out against SC, Bama, Aub and draining the D.

Or when they can't get off the field (Fiesta) pick them up and boat race the other guys.

Fucking Boat race an elite team in a big game and Bush will be better than Babushka.

Deep passes have been one of the strengths of this offense rather easily.

Still low percentage with the noodle arm QB. Maybe we? have been lucky or have played against shit defensive backfields.

Except they haven’t been low percentage.

With the slower wrs Jake hasn’t been under throwing the deep ball like before and it’s been a real weapon.

86 the deep ball and this offense will get worse, not better.

Didn't say get rid of it. You have to use it sometimes, but don't throw a deep pass just because. If the RBs are picking up 3-5 yards a pop, keep going with it.

My poont is: don't kill drives if the running game & short/intermediate passes are working.

Can we agree on no designed passes to the LT or a shitty, poser ILB?

Trick plays are for small stature players to emulate David dropping Goliath. They should be rare, like once every 4th game, to be effective and really catch teams off guard. They should not be relied on as part of a team's offense, like UW has done thus far. They really don't scare anyone. Instead, they advertise fear, inadequacy and weakness.

I think we're using them too often but stop with this nonsense. No they do not.

They advertise a team trying to be too smart for it's own good. The end.

Lean heavy on run, use 3 backs to keep fresh and wear teams out by 4th quarter. Pickup the f'n blitzes and throw quick hitters. Screen passes, WTE cross....
