It’s very fashionable to bash Moore’s Bond (and there are very, very, valid reasons for doing so) but like Dennis said he had some great moments *and* Moore revived the franchise after the mess that was Diamonds Are Forever (yes, Connery made bad Bond films).

I also tell people to watch Moore in For Your Eyes only. That is one of my favorite Bond films PERIOD, never mind Moore titles.

I like Thunderball, but you’re absolutely right. It was so formulaic that it was essentially remade with Never Say Never Again.
