Listened to the interview. His comments were pretty tone deaf in the current environment but I get the point he was trying to make, albeit completely poorly. Norm isn't the person to advance the conversation on the topic. I like him a lot as a comedian and hope this doesn't cost him the new show but who knows these days.

I see both sides of the issue. What Norm said about the victims not going through that was dumb. A multi millionaire missing out on the opportunity to make more millions doesn't resonate well with people. Many victims experience life changing trauma.

That being said, shit that was brought up from 30 years ago tearing down someone now I don't think it's fair either. Unless there's a continued pattern. However, these are private business that hire Rosanne, and if they don't like their comments, they have a right not to hire her. Politicians are a different matter. Franken being forced to quit was probably over the line. Especially when Trump's comments didn't have any effect (he was elected after). I wonder what would have happened if Trump was in Congress and those comments showed up.

The real problem is..... With Twitter and all the information out now. People have a forum to bitch about other people and the shit they say. Comedians should be able to joke about what they want to paying customers. If you don't like it, don't go. And that line is being crossed now. And pussies on both sides of the aisle freak out about shit they shouldn't.

Trump saying he’s going to grab someone by the pussy is the same as Franken groping a sleeping reporter. Is this liberal logic or did you forget he actually molested her?

In fairness to Franken, those juggies would be hard to pass up.

But seriously....for a change, HondoFS makes a decent point.

This he said/she said accusation 30 years later bullshit is pure bullshit.

The point was it's over 10 years ago. Just like Trump's pussy comments were over 10 years ago. Why didn't she say something at the time? Or during his campaign.

That's not a political comment. I see issues on both sides of the aisle. Weinstein for example.
