For what it's worth, although during the Obama Administration the Social Security Administration sent "no match" letters some years but not all eight years, the IRS also sent no-match letters (see here and here and here). From what I understand, the Obama Administration also supported E-Verify.
In any event, the fraudulent use of Social Security Numbers is a bad thing. I agree with you there. -

The link he posted is actually pretty funny. It's from the ACLU who opposes the use of E-Verify and the Obama Admin only agreed to go along with it after Sessions attached it as an Amendment to some spending bill and they were getting killed by the GOP for the fact that Stimulus money was going to be used to pay for illegal immigrant workers.
