    Great article- thanks! I remember seeing Mike Monan's name of the roster and wondering if he might ever get in a game. While reading the article and Monan's praise for his former college coach, it ran through my mind what it must have meant to high school coaches, especially the locals, to have DJ inquire about and perhaps recruit one of their kids. Once again it hits home that we have lost way too much...... not just in the passing of our greatest football coach, but the destruction of our football program for absolutely no good reason. It is so hard to get back what was once too good to be thrown away.
