*ahem, classical liberalism is actually FOR free(liberal) markets. Conservatives traditionally have a stance resembling mercantilism, Nationalism meets economics.

He seems like a kind, white, old gentleman. Too bad he doesn't take into account any progression in societal norms, values or science in his definitions. He consistently goes back to a tim (the 30s-50s at least twice) to make his examples. It's almost nothing's changed with him. FRANNY?

Maybe he could explain right v conservatives next?

I similarly look fondly upon the 70's today but I didn't then. Mostly because of hot girls, muscle cars and great music, and despite a down-trending economy, people were happier and smarter back then.

Today it means communist/socialist. Little distinction between them.

Never mind you’re right, the 70s were better. And not just because there weren’t hardly any Mexicans around.

You were a little kid in the 70s, so life was probably fine as long as JP Patches was on and you had some Fresca in the fridge.

Race was already planning his 3rd retirement.

Didn't watch a lot of TV or hang around the house. Rode motorcycles & BMX bikes in the woods, shot everything that flew with BB guns, built killer tree forts way before it was cool, smoked a little weed, hung out at the beach, had KJR and KING radio stickers in the back of the cars, and listened to a lot of FM Radio when it was all the rage.

    Car? In the 70s?

What year did you get your license? I'm thinking it wasn't in the 70s.

The point is, you were a kid and life is pretty good when you're a kid in most cases.
