You want proof we are leveling up?

Auburn enrolled 70 x four and five star recruits in the past 5 cycles. Not sure how many they have "in progress" at present but it's way more than us. They have recruited at an elite level for quite a while.
We have 35 four and five stars in progress and the bulk are from the past couple of classes.
So we went across the country to SEC land and held our own against a far more talented opponent in spite of not having a difference maker at the QB position.
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll but we are inching closer and closer.

You won't get any argument from me that the trend line is up. It is. But for now we are still pussy Pac-12 losers. I agree that we are a better offensive gameplan, a great QB, one or two great LB'ers and a top tier pass rusher away from being great. But, until we magic those LB'ers, pass rusher, QB (please let Eason be good) and a good game plan, we suck at the elite level.

Shut the fuck up and win.

Moral victory?

Stop. Just stop. All of this stuff is just sour grapes, make ourselves feel better bullshit. UW had several opportunities to win and blew it. Plain and simple.

If this program really were leveling up, Pete would find his balls and bench Jake.

I suggest you use the hyper space button.

We should be ahead of where we were two years ago but we're aren't. Pete is bad at dealing with personnel. If he misevaluates someone, like Browning or Gregory, he doesn't react and fix the mistake. This is a personality flaw (for his position) he refuses to overcome.Dennis_DeYoung said:If this program really were leveling up, Pete would find his balls and bench Jake.
He also refuses to play from a position of dominance but that wasn't the problem last week. -
kill me
just fucking kill me -
It is what it is.
Loyalty (and stubbornness)
Pete expects and gives loyalty (or at least more than your average coach)
Its all part of his okg philosophy.
So, brownsocks is what he is. A honda accord and we want Ferrari.
Pete is going to go with the honda until the insurance runs out and we're going to level up to an acura next time.
Pete is slow and methodical which infuriates ddy and most of us. Takes awhile for him to let the strausser types go in order to level. But that's him.
Would you guys rather have Herm?
