He thinks he’s a one and done. He might be. If he can’t get PT he will transfer. That’s hardly a unique deal these days.
He might be one and done, but it won't be to the NBA. This is based upon last season. Who knows, maybe he's grown (his game and physical stature) since then.

He has everything except elite strength and size. He shot the ball better at Hale than at Garfield, but I don’t have actual numbers to support that, just a gut feeling. I don’t think he’s a true PG unless he develops his passing and vision.

Plenty of minutes available after this season. If he's able to handle some at PG thats probably his easiest path to pt. He appears to be one of Hop's biggest priorities this season, he's only following 4 recruits other than Battle; McDaniels, Stewart, Tsohonis, and Fuller.
