I understand the love for UW football. I truly do. But some of the stuff out here has been over, above and beyond what has earned us the reputation of best sites out there.
If you need to take a step away from the keyboard, feel free. If you have something inelegant, rational, or something that adds to the discussion, feel free, But to be clear, we're not going to allow the lynch mob, overreactions, over the top emotional reactions out here. It's not what we're about.
The Kaho story is unfortunate. The biggest issue was him coming to Seattle without being qualified. It tied UW 's hands in a lot of ways. No team activities. No meals. No place to stay, etc. It led to a lot of issues. Throw the family issues into the mix, and and it led to a lot of issues which neither party could control. Plenty of blame to be tossed around. It just led to a bad situation and Kaho felt it wasn't the best place for him. more stuff will come out as time passes. it always does
I can honestly say I don't believe this was an underhanded dirty deal. There wasn't a bag of cash or promises involved. It was just a lot of unfortunate circumstances. And yeah, it sucks.
Kaho isn't a bad kid. If he was, Pete wouldn't have taken a chance on him. He took a chance, and it didn't work out. It's unfortunate, but unfortunately it didn't work out .
We hate deleting posts. But we just can't allow some of the stuff we've seen. It's not what we're about.

@UW_Doog_Bot yes, row boat has always been a Varsity (not Club) sport at Worshington and part of the Athletic Dept. I'll let you try it on at the Rose Bowl this year on Jan 1st if you want to see what it feels like. But it's old and smells of stale beer.
