The truth is, the worst thing that can happen is another seven win season and no change at the top. If that happens, it will be very hard to sell this program to kids looking to play for a serious championship contender. Make a home run hire and recruiting rankings will sky rocket. Everything else is already in place.
If Saban couldnt win here (a couple peterlips said in another thread,) how is everything in place? We cant recruit here didnt you know? We cant get to the rose bowl without a crazy billionaire either!

You are the same fucktard who said next year is Sark's year once he has Miles then turn around and said you can't expect to beat UCLA because Miles played.
Sark will be there until Husky Stadium averages 45k for a season.
That's what I am afraid of. However, every loss creates a little bit more momentum. Everyone assumes if he stays he will win 9 or 10 next year. I don't see that at all. I see more like a 3-6 conference record and 6 or 7 wins with a team that will have tuned him out.
The time is now. If they have learned anything from the Ty debacle it's that you cannot have a deathwatch season as a coach.
As for the 5 star DT myth from 2015. They act like the new coach can't convince him to stay or will necessarily fire Tosh who probably is the real reason why he came here.
If any coach on this coaching staff deserves to survive a cleaning house it would be Tosh. He's not this great recruiter like he was hyped to be but his DT recruiting which is his position is showing he can recruit. He does have value.

Bingo. Just had this conversation with a friend of mine. Any new head coach should prioritize keeping Tosh. Tosh's recruiting with a Don-James-Saban-like approach to discipline and organization would be powerful.

Fuck off!
Everybody knows he's a lame duck coach with a short term contract and too few wins.
