Why does anyone want Sark fired?

We have the same idiot in charge that hired Sark, paid him God-awful amounts to reach 7 wins, and already extended his contract once...what does firing Sark do except give us at least 5 more years with a bumbling coordinator learning on the job with the hopes we somehow bought a magical lottery ticket and the aforementioned coordinator somehow turns into a Hall-of-Fame coach.

Until Pool Boy is gone I don't see the point in getting worked up over it...it will be just more of the same. Save your money and spend it on something more worthwhile. Look at UWs athletics now...football is stuck on 7 wins and can't win a decent road game for the life of them, BBall went from a top Pac12 program to 2 years out of the tournament and lost to UC-Irvine a couple days ago, WBBall coach up and left as soon as he got a better offer, Baseball blows, Softball is nowhere near the national powerhouse they were a couple years ago, etc. etc. Crew is the only decent sport program, and that is run by the crew alums a hell of a lot more than the AD. You think Romar or Sark are fearful of their jobs right now? I don't...they know we have an idiot in charge and they have been coasting for the last couple of years.

Pool Boy blows...he's only qualified to be a fundraiser...and until you get a competent business manager or a football guy into that role 7-6 will be the standard whether its Sark or somebody else in charge.

We know Sark's not the guy. We know Woodward's not good at selecting the next guy. We also know idiot AD's get lucky with hires all the time.

Sark sticking around gives us a 0% chance of a championship coach. Woody hiring the next guy gives us a 10% chance of a championship coach.

    Simple maff. #FireSark
  • Our options are

    A) Stay the course which fucking sucks

    B) Fire Sark and hope Pool Boy lucks into a hire

I doubt Pool Boy is in danger of losing his job. Really both options suck but at least option B there is a fucking chance!

With option A there is no chance and 2014 is TSIO!

Title IX sports and rowing are all that matters, money making sports be damned. Football's front porch looks like that of your average inner city Detroit home.

We need to clone Mike Lude so he can pick Sark and Woody up off their bikes with training wheels and throw both of them into the Montlake Cut with their pink slips.

    This and, "scarves up!!"

WSJ has it exactly right. For those of you that live in Seattle, take a quick look around at our new neighbors, and try to imagine any of them not masturbating over Title IX.

They lined both sides of Montlake with banners celebrating it's anniversary, for fuck's sake.

Seattle is the new SF, as they wanted, and UW is fucked (besides women/Olympic sports).

    Fuck

Guerrero lucked into Mora. Garrett lucked into Carroll. Emmert lucked into Saban.

Even a blind squirrel is right twice a day.

Yeah, but you are quoting 3 cases in the last 10+ years (2 of which with fan bases a hell of a lot more demanding than ours)...there are, what, 10-20 jobs open a year? I'm not into magic lottery tickets, or at least throwing my money after one. A year or 2 with a half full stadium and a shitty BBall program will do Pool Boy in...$$$. Only thing is, how many doogs does it take to find something different to do on a Saturday evening at 8pm to cause that, especially with an up-tempo offense that will be able to hang 50 on the Eastern Washingtons of the world for several of our early home games every year.

There are a lot of fucking morons in Seattle.

Saban was not a lucky hire.

Saban was put in an environment he could win in.

I would argue that Saban would have hard sledding in Washington.

Washington does not want to win.

Thanks for crisping that up! Just when they think they're safe when they enter the water, they remember the cement.
