You'd be surprised how much farmed fish is sold around here. A lot of the salmon and steelhead you see in the store is farm raised fish.
It's because wild caught Chinook is 26 bones a pound and farmed Atlantic is 12. People who don't eat wild fish very much probably couldn't tell the difference either. I have people ask me for Chum salmon in the fall. Who the fuck eats Chum salmon?
Washington is unique in that regard so they have that going for them which is nice.

I'm going to go out to Fish Trap this weekend and see if I can find a king that's looking for a wood shampoo. South sound Kings aren't the best fare, but my neighbors will think I'm a hero for dropping a salmon on them.
