Where will the swag come from in 2018?

The 2016 team had attitude. Kevin King had the DBs nasty and flamboyant. Baker and SMFJ were more subtle but it was there.

Victor sparked the entire team. He also brought it out of Keyshawn (who was much more subdued in 2017).

Psalm had what most would characterize as misplaced swag, but he had personality and character.

@Dennis_DeYoung alluded to it in another thread that we've become a more boring team, bereft of any real personality.

What about the offense? Gaskin is the obvious choice here (WSUtongue.jpg), but the playcalling has often obfuscated this. Maybe one of the WRs, but certainly not Baccelia or Fuller. In 2016 Daniels played this role well, as did Ross (his taunting of the WSU CBs was lol)

Who are the alphas on this team? Is it ultimately that important?

Attitude comes with confidence and the knowledge that you are better than your opponent

You want attitude last year? How about running it down Colorado’s throat in the 2nd half? Or humiliating UCLA? Oregon? Wazzu?

The attitude starts in the trenches and the mindset to beat up the opposition.

If I’m worried about “attitude” this year I worry a bit about the LBs. I have a little concern at WR until someone steps up.

But at the same time, a lot of the confidence vanished last year with injuries and some really piss poor QB play in spots.

Good thread and I'm glad this was brought up. It was one of the more subtle differences from 2016. The team looked soft/apprehensive. The 16 team feared no one and talked mad shit.

Defense - Taylor Rapp, Byron Murphy, Jordan Miller, Gaines, Levi (expecting big things from him).
Offense - Would have been Hunter Bryant. I'll go with Gaskin, Adams, and McGary. McGary and Adams are some big country boys.
