If I can’t doog for a 30 sec clip during off season wtf are we doing hear?

sadly debating summer league defense, jumpers, and the potential for all american players at a team who hasn't sniffed the NCAA's in almost a decade.

We should all go fuck off and die to be honest.

He was more of an athlete than a polished player last year. If he can make defenders respect his shot he’ll be a real handful for teams. If Naz can round his offensive game out to something close to what Nowell has he’s a all conference lock and potential all American.

Hard to imagine him ever having Nowell's polish, with his athleticism and length that's NBA All Star talent.

For now I'd be happy with him forcing teams to guard him.
This. By his senior year Naz, if Hop develops players the way I think he does, will be an all-american.
I’ll take overreaction to a summer league highlight tape for $500, Alex.
It had nothing to do w/ his summer tape. If he can develop a left hand and a consistent jumper off the bounce, he will be unstoppable. He’s one of the best athletes in CBB.

That’s a lot of “ifs” for a guy that is just a Joel Smith dunker at this point.

Disagree, he was a decent catch and shoot guy last year.

You realize that describes about 50% of high end D1 basketball players? The majority of top 25 teams are littered with guys who have flaws in their massively athletic frames. The majority are massively athletic but are missing things like, 1) a jump shot or b) ability to use both hands to attack.

    First couple years following basketball?

He averaged 3 shots a game. I don't think anyone has much ability to say his "catch and shoot" game was decent.

Again, i expect more than decent for a potential all-american(your words, not mine). Let's just see how he looks against real competition.

Come on guys, anything in summer should be treated like SUMMER LEAGUE. Sure, a few of the guys may have a personal beef to play hard for a possession or two, but if you actually pay attention to his 3 pointers in that shortened film there was literally zero pressure with no screens causing a reason for a defender to drop off. It's what we like to call summer league defense. You shoot and if you make it i'll run back and get the ball to go make my own attempt. I'm also very concerned about the amount of white kids on the floor(yes i went there) if we're comparing to Pac12 level success.

I hate to go DNC on you all, but the help defense in those clips made the IMA blush.

Let's wait till the men come out to play defense this fall before super stroking it.
    HURTFUL

Nope, I'm a lull you to sleep because I'm moving so slowly then somehow beat you with the right to left cross when I move my fastest which is help speed for a real athlete before finishing with an awkward but effective half hook half layup with the left guy.

Slow short and white is no way to go through life.

Your help speed is still better than your half defense.
