I grew up watching UW when SI anointed them TE U and then when Slick took over that streak of badass NFL caliber WTE's ended. God bless CP for bringing back the two and three TE sets where our WTE essentially acts as a de facto OL but can still pose a threat in the passing game. It seems Dissly is going to be the WTE who gets the streak back up and running with Sample, Kizer, Otton etc. in line to keep it going.
Can you imagine throwing out a WR lineup of Ross, Pettis, McClatcher, and Harry against Bama in 2016? With Brownsox at QB it probably wouldn't have mattered but holy fuck Harry is the missing piece our offense has needed over the past two seasons.
Fetters saw Kavario Middleton as a transcendent difference maker, special enough to turn the program around. Also, Chris saw ASJ as a dominant OT with a nasty streak but not athletic or fast enough to play TE

Kavario had great hands. He was always really slow. He was a solid prospect, but he should have never been a 5 star guy.

Lester Towns’ HS teammate was all set to follow him here until he officially visited during a historic blizzard.
Flipped to Tucson and the rest is history.
