It's the best thing to happen to @Swaye this weekend, rather easily.AEB said:On a day where the Henry Toto speculation is rampant and ridiculous, let us not lose sight of how fucking awesome this commit and player is. While @Dennis_DeYoung would say this is one we should get and Boner gets no credit (don’t disagree), this is huge. He’s going to be a stud and gash D’s especially paired with Eason year 2 and Sam.

That was my favorite part.Meek said:also including the war daddy CP1 is sweet respect to even our bad years.

Can't wait to see Sam throw screens to Sam

Even 4 years ago getting a commit the caliber of Adams would have dominated this board for a week.AEB said:On a day where the Henry Toto speculation is rampant and ridiculous, let us not lose sight of how fucking awesome this commit and player is. Sam is incredible and may not even crack the top 5-6 of the best recruits in our class. -
This 1000 times over. Now Savell can concretely see what a Hometown Hero looks like. I hope every big hitter in the Seattle business world who is a Husky fan embraces this kid in any way possible.AEB said:On a day where the Henry Toto speculation is rampant and ridiculous, let us not lose sight of how fucking awesome this commit and player is. I still think it's crazy that this kids uncle weighed over 4 fucking bills when he walked onto UW. I remember reading that blurb in the Seattle times when I was in high school. Shit boggled 16 year old me's mind.

Fuck yeah!

“I’m just so relieved”, Adams added, “When I called KB, he was still in Cabo but said he would be back this week — he said I made his whole week.”
KB and Bob Gregory are really out here recruiting like a chicken with their heads cut off just to have RARE ELITE TALENTS fall into their laps. As funny as it is, it’s really starting to stress me out that our recruiting coordinator is finding out Sam committed in the same way @backthepack heard from me months ago Sam was committed, in a drunken stupor while also asking the very important follow up question immediately afterwards of “yo should I go hang out with this chick that’s kinda cute but dumb af”. -
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I’m all for tweeting the hell out of some TB’s BUT should we at least give them 24 hrs to feel special before we tweet at them to go and recruit other TB’s to commit...?

Ohio State has lost out on a running back target for the 2020 recruiting cycle. According to an announcement on his Twitter feed Sunday, four-star recruit Sam Adams II has given his verbal to the University of Washington.
The 6-2, 200 lb. all-purpose back is teammates with Ohio State receiver commit Gee Scott, Jr on East Side Catholic in Sammamish, Washington and was always thought to be a heavy Washington lean. However, in late May, Adams did include the Buckeyes in his final six along with Washington, Florida, Alabama, Penn State, and Texas A&M.
Ohio State had hoped it could sell Adams and the pull of playing with his teammate in college would win out in the end. The urge and pride to stay home and play for the Huskies was just too much however.
The news still has Ohio State looking for a running back recruit for the 2020 class. -

I had to chin this just because I'm in the "I love you, Man!" phase of both drunk and glowing in this commitment and because, right when I'm feeling like that, this was the most Ballz post I've ever seen.StrongArmCobra said:He reminds me of Chris Carson. "I told coach Pete (Chris Petersen) I wanted to commit two weeks ago and they were really excited when I committed," Adams told Dawgman.com shortly after announcing his decision. "When it came down to it, after I took my visits and sat down and added everything up, Washington was the right choice for me.
"The biggest thing was getting to rep for my city, but it was also the school -- it's one of the top colleges in the country, actually the nation -- and the staff. I just felt of all the schools that they were the ones who could develop me as a person and as a player the best.
"All of my options were great and I couldn't have gone wrong picking any of them, but Washington was the right decision and it means a lot to me that my family can see me play and I am around so many people who care about me and will help me succeed."
Adams's father Sam played for the Seattle Seahawks, so he's been around football since he was a small child and with two older brothers playing college and football, the family ties run deep.
"My dad has been a huge influence on me and my love of football," Adams said back in the spring. "He's been through it all -- high school, college and the pros -- so nothing really surprises him and he's helped guide me throughout the recruiting process and also what to expect from things with my team and getting prepared for the next level."
In addition to all of the positives that Washington presented, Adams also mentioned the fact that so many of the Huskies' great tailbacks have come from within the borders of the Evergreen State.
"It's amazing how many great tailbacks they have had that have come from the area and in the state," Adams noted. "Their last two -- Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed -- are guys I've grown up around and worked out with, so the follow in their footsteps is amazing and I know Salvon really well so it's great to have the chance to play with him once I arrive."
Adams will not be an early enrollee as he wants to enjoy his senior year and graduate in June of 2020.
He did mention he plans to get to work on the recruiting trail, most notably with teammates Gee Scott Jr. and Ayden Hector.
"It's time for me to start recruiting," Adams said with a chuckle. "Every player wants to get the best players they can around them, so I'm going to get to work and start doing that."
