I am in the Bay Area and go to a lot of high school football. Hate to break it you but Foskey was overrated and Turner will be the more impactful of the two.
He actually tried to commit over the weekend. The ND staff told him they would not accept it unless he was 100% sure & not taking any more visits. They told him to think about it & if he was sure Elston would stop by & see him while in Hawaii recruiting. He didn’t wait long & told the staff he & his family were 100% committed. So Elston came out to take his commitment in person. Two of his football player guides on his visit are from his home area in Hawaii. Both starters on top 10 defense last year.
Top-10 defense parted like the Red Sea for Clemson.

If he wants a home away from home on the mainland where he could possibly have a life and career after football, Seattle is a way better option than fucking anywhere in Indiana. Fuck you Kwat. Pete gives a fuck but Pete refuses to evaluate things differently and will not tolerate having to act urgently where required. It’s frustrating to say the least how he won’t recruit the way recruiting requires it. Now I suspect he’ll spend a thousand hours to find a hidden gem that nobody’s heard of.

Every year we slow the fuck down with our recruiting efforts and “focus” on spring ball. Not only that, but we don’t even use spring ball as a catalyst for large recruiting events during the offseason either. Then we check back in with our recruits in late May and early June and a bunch of them have moved on.

And no one has talked about it on here but the fact that he made this an “OFFICIAL” right after the Poly Bowl gives me an even worse feeling about this one. Herbig made a big deal about getting blown up by Gregory after the Poly Bowl as the first coach not named Ikaika Malloe to reach out to him and the first coach from any shook to kind of designate that they wanted him inside. Botelho mentioned no such similar conversation while interviewed in that same time gap.
Herbig is the number 1 guy now with Sawyer and Carson Bruener needed to pick up the slack. I mentioned this when talking about losing Elias Ricks and Kelee Ringo, you’re automatically asking for too much value from other guys to make up for it. KamFab is a good corner but by himself in a class is a joke, throw one of the top corners in Trent McDuffie in there and it doesn’t just help your top end but now it makes KamFab a much better player on value.
