I know I chinned it, but if you're smart you've been betting without a problem already. All this does make gambling more expensive.

    Uhhhh ... no.

It would create more opportunities for people to engage in the industry, which will inherently cause 'cost' to go down as they compete for the wagered dollar.

The vig is the profit the casinos make given they get an even bet of overs and unders. The vig is also in place to offset losses the casino takes when a disproportionate group of people bet on the winning side. There really isn't much of a margin in sports betting as it is. Adding an integrity fee to it will undoubtedly increase costs on the public. Also the integrity fees are on the amount bet not the casino's revenue. It's like placing a sales tax to casino's or other online betting sites made payable to sports franchises. Who do you think is going to have to pay for this tax?

Smart people now have to spend more to bet, because smart people have been betting all along without this fee. Sure, newcomers will show up realizing they have an easier avenue to make bets, but it's going to cost them more than if they had done it the right way all along.
I pay an integrity fee to HCH.

    Still no integrity.

I like to talk about smarts then say something fucktarded. That's what I like to do.
You don't think integrity fees on the gambling industry doesn't effect margins? Who do you think is going to pay for decreased margins? Both of them rhetorical, because any dumbfuck knows the answer

All in all, I sense there will be higher vig charges than the standard 10%.

So I now have to pay $112 to win a $100 bet compared to $110 to win the same $100 bet. How is that not more expensive? Simple economics. Why am I surprised you don't get it?

Legal weed had a big belly laugh about this.

Not to mention the use of Metro News.
It wasn’t a felony to bet on sports if you did it the right way. But great nonsensical comparison as always.
When has it been a felony to buy weed?
Possessing more than an ounce, before the state changed its law.
    Still illegal.

    To transport. Not possess dipshit.
Still illegal to possess large quantities without a license to do so. Is your Google broken?
But much more than an ounce in my state. My argument was based on an ounce, don’t broaden it out to “large quantities”. A large quantity to you is different than a large quantity to the next person.
