Loy: Long way to go guys. They need to get him and mom on campus first. That's the current plan.
ND1: Our history vs Lake (and mom) is not favorable.
ND2: I refuse to get excited with any recruit that we’re fighting Washington for. Even with everything that is going in there.
ND3: Agree, especially recruiting against Jimmy (The Snake) Lake!
Loy: While the belief is that Jalen’s mom may prefer him at UW and his coach prefer him at ND, I’m told this is Jalen’s decision and one that he is making for himself. Whatever he decides to do, he will have everyone’s support. He’s got a great support system around him.
ND4: Remember when everyone was telling Tom he didn’t know what he was talking about in regards to Asa Turner? Tom was spot on through that whole recruitment. I feel like this is similar.
ND5: Wake me up with this one is over. It has the same exact feeling as Asa Turner.
ND6: And Kyler Gordon and everyone from Fresno since the dawn of man.
ND7: Tom, is anybody from the coaching staff stopping by Jalens school/home while in Cali this week? Or is the dialogue just over the phone?
Loy: There is more than just phone dialogue happening.
ND8: As Jalen weighs his options I wonder what are his Pro's and Con's for each school. Every kid has certain things they are looking for and I just wonder what are Jalen's top priorities with his decision, and if ND checks off some of those boxes.... I know I'm biased, but I just don't see what makes Washington so appealing to a lot of these guys. They are a damn thorn in our side every recruiting cycle.
ND9: None of us know what matters to Jalen but man, you could come play with the likes of Jordan Johnson and Chris Tyree. That’s much better than anything Washington is going to throw out there offensively. Not to mention Kevin Austin, Lenzy, Mayer etc. ND is going to be a top 10 if not top 5 the next few years. Washington is taking a step back, Oregon is out recruiting them right now and it’s not that close. Again, easy for us to say on the outside looking in but man go play with the better recruits and that’s at ND.
Loy: FYI Jalen no longer has “committed to Washington” (or was it Washington commit... ?) in his Twitter bio. I just think he’s going to take a step back from things and really look at the three heavy hitters again in ND UW and USC. That’s always been the trio at the top. Without a return trip, I don’t see him going to ND. I’ll say that much. ND really wants mom to visit and get a feel for it.
*Jalen tweets they trippin if they think I'm leavin GO DAWGS*
Loy: We’ll see if ND can make a move here. They’re trying hard. Got to get in-home next week with BK, IMO, if they want a shot. I know they are trying to get it setup.
ND10: Welp that's all she wrote, the kid don't want ND if he's posting this on twitter.
ND11: McMillan has said numerous times he’s sticking with Washington. This isn’t happening. Everybody needs to move on.
Loy: He may stick, but there is definitely stuff going on behind the scenes.
ND12: I find it funny the Washington guy states mom doesn’t want him in Indiana. Also funny that he acts like choosing USC over Washington is crazy. Sorry man Washington isn’t on the same level as ND and USC. Just not even close. I would rather have McMillan at Washington if he doesn’t choose ND because we play USC but I wouldn’t blame the kid for selecting a school with much more success and tradition. It would seem Washington has been trending in the wrong direction since making the playoff once. Just funny how anyone connected to any program thinks recruits choosing elsewhere is ludicrous.
ND13: His loss. If he wants to finish 7-6 his entire college career stay with them Dawgs then.
Any more updates from the nd forum?? this shit is hilarious hahahah

Nothing today but I’ll update over the end of the week.
247Sports spoke with McMillan to get his take on the change to his social media account, as well as what went through his mind when the news broke about Petersen.
"The only reason I took the Washington commit out of my bio and stuff was because, I don't know, I just felt like everybody knew I was committed and I just wanted to change it up and put something different," said McMillan.
"My first thought on this was, 'Who is leaving? Is everybody staying?' Then I found out that everybody is staying,” said McMillan regarding the news of Petersen stepping down. “I had a lot of people in my ear telling me otherwise, telling me all of these things, so I kind of laid low and just listened to the people close to me and listened to my support system and found out the truth and was able to deal with it and stay committed."
Was it negative recruiting? Was he hearing things from other schools that had him rethinking his pledge to the Huskies? Not exactly, but it was more about taking a step back, thinking things through, and coming to an informed decision.
"No, it was just people were telling me all of these crazy things," said McMillan, when asked if he was dealing with negative recruiting. "I didn't believe them, of course. I just laid low and chilled out and just listened to my support system."
The loss of Petersen definitely hurts Washington here. McMillan developed an extremely close bond with the head coach and he went as far as calling him the “Greatest Of All Time.”
"Chris Petersen is the 'Goat' of coaching,” said McMillan. “He was the one that called me and talked to me about everything and told me that everything is going to be ok, and 'I'm going to still be on campus, I'm going to still be here."
That said, while it may sting a bit, it’s clearly not a loss this Washington staff can’t overcome. Jimmy Lake wasted no time getting on the phone with the prized recruit and the two couldn’t have had a better conversation this week.
"It went good. It went great," said McMillan of his first talk with Lake since the news broke. "We talked about what he plans to do, what his views on the offense are, how he is going to change it, and how he needs me. I had a previous relationship with him before he became the head coach too, so we're already in a solid relationship."
One school has always been in the mix here as legit competition to Washington and that is Notre Dame. McMillan loved his initial visit to campus, had a great time in South Bend, and was looking at returning for an official visit, but committed to Washington before all that and eventually shut down his recruitment. However, earlier this week, offensive coordinator Chip Long made his way to San Joaquin Memorial high school and was able to spend some time with McMillan.
"He came by the school and talked to me about what he plans to do with Notre Dame's offense and everything," said McMillan. "They came to watch me practice. After that, I said what's up. We had a cool, little conversation about football and Notre Dame and how they still want me. It was a good conversation. That's really all that happened."
So, is McMillan going to welcome the Notre Dame coaches and head coach Brian Kelly in particular in-home next week for a final in-person meeting? Is there any chance that he finally takes that official visit? As of today, it looks as though that won’t take place.
"I texted him and told him that I'm committed to Washington and I'm a Dawg,” said McMillan of his communication with Long. “I thanked him for the opportunity and everything, but right now I'm a solid, 100 percent Dawg and I'm looking forward to the opportunities of playing at Washington and being able to change the program, and giving the fans what they want and need."
Loy: Just doing my part to try and get to the bottom of all of this.
Loy: Like I was hinting at, Notre Dame visited him in-school already this week and will try and come back next week with Brian Kelly. However, it seems as though it's an uphill battle as of today barring a change of heart.
ND3: I'd rather him say this then let the staff waste their time.
ND4: Sounds pretty definitive. I'm glad Chip took a swing and hope he stays in his ear until the dotted line is inked....
ND5: Kelly needed to be at that visit.
ND6: Thanks Tom, an important article given the coaching change.
ND7: GOAT doesn't mean what he thinks it means.
ND8: I’m sorry once i read that part I kinda wished this kid well and got over him not coming to ND
UW1: Come on ND fans, how many times do we have to do this to you? . You guys will be fine. We really need this guy. He will play day 1 for UW.
UW2: Relief. I wish I was on that call he had with Lake to hear how the offense is going to change.
ND9: Tom, appreciate your efforts. Feels like you’re a glutton for punishment with these kids we lose to UDub but hopefully we’ll get one soon.
Loy: Doesn't impact me at all. No skin in the game. Just doing my job. All I was reporting was that Notre Dame was more in this than people realized, which was clear when he welcomed Notre Dame in for a visit this week.
ND10: It happens. Maybe more frequently recently with UW, but the WR position is one of two groups I’m not really concerned about in the next couple cycles.
ND11: We should have seen this coming. Happens almost every time Washington is involved OR it’s a kid from Fresno. This happened to be both. Worth a shot by the staff of course but not going to win many of those.
ND12: If Eason is thinking he’s leaving for the Draft then who the hell do they have to throw the ball to him? Anyway, he’s not a NEED prospect. WR position is actually trending up. If ND can figure out a way to get Johnson on the field early along with Austin, Keys, and Lenzy... I think that’s an extremely diverse and skilled group of guys.
ND13: We will see him in the transfer portal as soon as he realizes lake was just pissing on his leg and telling him its raining. He will soon find out that their offense will still suck after the "changes" and he'll be irish by his junior year.
When your own writers are lazy and the kids also don’t talk to them anyway, just make sure the opposing team’s writer tags your site so your readers can get the updated info that you know you couldn’t get them:

All the recruits saying the same thing...
Bush is coming back. Cant blatantly lie the same way you used to be able to now that we live in the quick portal and waiver era.

Tom was spot on during the Asa recruitment except for when Asa went to uw and played safety.

Both are under performers
Then ask yourself why?
