Let’s goooo, interesting to know the backstory behind Jackson hahah I bet it’s gonna be an interesting season between those guys if Jackson had a spot then lost it to Makell

I'm getting the feeling Jackson wasn't the one who has lost his spot......
    Hector?
Hector is a take no matter what.

Think Domicillo was referring to Smith although CP doesn’t do that to committed players and Smith was commenting on Esteen’s commitment.

How do Esteen and Jackson compare? Did we get the better one?

He's better than both Covington and Hector too

Give me Covington out of that group.

    I love them all though.

    Why you prefer Covington?

I could give you a bunch of stuff about his length and frame and versatility and how all he needs is a little more toughness which we will instill but honestly? Probably cause I just love our DB pipeline from Arizona. I was the first one on here to love Dom, I CB'd Covington to UW one day after we offered. I 'm a sucker for these dudes.

I'm not gonna pretend to know how to evaluate who is better.

Covington has better offers and a higher ranking. Granted that may be due to him playing at saguaro while I've never heard of Lawndale before

Just watched junior highlights up to the point where they switch to offense. He looks physical and good in press coverage. He breaks off quick and hits hard when someone else's man catches a ball. I dont really see elite speed for a corner in the part I watched. Maybe it's there. The quickness looks like it's there. I think I like him as a safety.

Nope I was talking about Hector. Based on how this has played out the past week or so, I don't think Jimmy wanted to wait anymore on any of these guys. If Hector isn't gonna speed up his decision and Stanford is gonna loom in his process, I don't think there is a big enough gap between Jackson and Hector to be worth holding a spot and potentially missing out on both.
