#3 U2Excellent choice of gif for U2.
-
#14 Black CrowesI would rather kill myself by deep throating a napalm road flare then listen to a U2 album.

#3 U2Thead is worthless without @DoogCourics

Agreed.Swaye said:I would rather kill myself by deep throating a napalm road flare then listen to a U2 album.

#3 U2Stylistically, I am much more aligned with the Black Crowes and their influences- i.e., Stones, Faces, LZ, Allman Bros, etc. BUT U2 were a far more important and chinfluential band. Love 'em or hate 'em, Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby were 2 of the greatest albums of the of that era.

#3 U2I have to say I'm emphatically with Swaye on this one. Gasoline in a Styrofoam cup right down the gullet before listening to U2.
Bono is literally the biggest piece of shit, but unfortunately as my ancestors were Irish and my avatar is a direct homage to that fuck, I have to honor U2 with this vote.

Honoring your ancestors is important. Want to buy some fireworks? How about drugs?DoogCourics said:I have to say I'm emphatically with Swaye on this one. Gasoline in a Styrofoam cup right down the gullet before listening to U2.

#14 Black CrowesU2... Average drummer, below average bass player, a guitar player that plays one riff and a singer that only cares about haggling you for charity money.
-
#3 U2People wonder why this category doesn’t gave more entrants. FFS. Both these bands are awful.

#3 U2
Fuck me. There are going to be some OK bands from the 90s making to the Sweet 16 and Dylan and the Beach Boys probably don't get past the Round of 32.Dennis_DeYoung said:People wonder why this category doesn’t gave more entrants. FFS. Both these bands are awful.

#14 Black CrowesI tried but I just can't be musically objective here. Black Crowes sucked so bad I don't remember a single song of theirs. But Bono is one of the biggest douches in music. A real self important fucktard. Get rid of the tacky colored glasses, dumbfuck. You aren't Elton John.

#3 U2Black Crowes chances not worth crowing about
-
#14 Black CrowesHow in the fuck did the Black Crowes make it and not the Smashing Pumpkins?
-
#14 Black Crowesthere is quite a few - I was counting crows

Or Green Day? Or the Foo Fighters? Or The Killers? Or The Goo Goo Dolls?oregonblitzkrieg said:How in the fuck did the Black Crowes make it and not the Smashing Pumpkins?
Hell, I’d even put a band like My Chemical Romance up against The Black Crowes. I’d definitely choose Welcome to the Black Parade ahead of anything from The Black Crowes -

Prolly a coin flip between Pumpkins and Crowes. Both were about the same level of importance in the 90s. -

As a 90s kid cannot confirm. Pumpkins were far far more important. -
#3 U2
Record sales about equal for both groups at 30,000,000. Just one metric. Don't twist.dnc said:

Must have been for old people. I didn't know a single person who listened to Black Crowes. Not in Seattle. Not in North Carolina. I knew a ton of people who loved the Pumpkins in both (and a ton who hated them in both).
Youtube seems to agree. Those 90s kids grew up and watch Youtube. Those old people apparently do not. Black Crowes has one video with over 10 million views (and only one more with 5). Pumpkins has 7.
I'd be shocked if the average 90s rock fan can name more than one Black Crowes song. Or a single member of the band. -
#14 Black CrowesLots of truth in here. I'm a big Crowes fan. Loved them in their prime. But, to be completely honest, their prime lasted about 2 years. Pumpkins, Green Day and Tool were all more influential and should have made it in over them.
Look Yella, I didn't piss all over you with metal bands. -

Forgot the Foo Fighters. They certainly should have made it, but I am guessing Yella thought with three Seattle bands already... -
#14 Black CrowesAlso I was downvoted by @RoadDawg55 for making fun of U2, which confirms my theory that the only people who like U2 are girls and asian guys.
