Another crazy matchup. Both good within their genres, but c'mon man, Rush and Fleetwood Mac have nothing in common.
True but I chose to create the 4 different regions based on eras vs genres. Yes, it creates some random matchups, but I like this because it forces people to make some hard calls if they like both artists a lot.

Fair enough.
Neil Peart (arguably GOAT) >> Mick Fleetwood
Stevie Nicks > Geddy Lee, but in fairness, neither band would be as good as they are/were with different lead singers
Alex Lifeson > all Fleetwood Mac guitarists
Rush's (Neil Peart's) Ayn Rand inspired lyrics >> Fleetwood Mac pop lyrics

But I like them both.
And that's the point. Instead of Beatles or Stones, why not Fleetwood Mac vs Rush or AC DC vs Styx? How many times in your life has someone asked you those type of questions? Only at Hardcore Husky presented by @DerekJohnson can you get this level of content.
Bad Matchup. Instead of seedings. You should have matched genre's. I hate to vote Rush to get eliminated in the 1st rd but there's no way Fleetwood Mac can go down in the 1st.
I once was in a conversation with a relatively famous crack smoking music producer and he said to 18 year old me, "did you know that Neal Peart once read a book on nuclear strategy to write the lyrics to a song?"
18 year old me was like "whoa cool"
Then he said, "Yeah, real fucking cool - if you are trying to sing to a bunch of fucking physicists. I don't know what that is, but that's not rock-n-roll."

This is also the best that white women have to offer:

I can mostly say the same for Rush ...
But what it comes down to for me is that if I’m forced to choose between Tom Sawyer and any Fleetwood Mac song I’m choosing Tom Sawyer
