We'll win Apple Cups in the future. There have just been some glaring issues that need resolving. Talent gap, motivation, us firing on all cylinders leading to that game.
Falk took us as far as he could. He's a great coug, but now we need to take another step forward and reload with a better starting point than when he took the helm.
Price was 2-4 against the Huskies. Leach is 1-5
I think Price was 3-12 against the Huskies.
The gap believe it or not is closing. This is about the peak the Huskies can be at. This is their peak. Do I think we are at WSU's peak. No way. We still have about 6-8 years of building from where we are at to really hit the okay this is a serious football program you go to Washington State to play serious football.
We hit that and we will beat the Huskies because the talent gap is gone, the intensity is on par, but we also have the chip on our shoulder.
Articles like this only cause more negativity and hurts what all are trying to build. Suggest CAF stop only caring more about themselves and rethink what cougfan means.
When posting things like this then should not complain when we loose recruits or donation potential. This time of the season should be about building positive atmosphere moving toward fall and getting the best recruits.
The only Tennessee "document" that says Leach would be willing to entertain the job is a note from a guy about to lose his job who was desperate to show some progress to his masters back at Tennessee. Even if you believe his note; and nothing Currie was saying at that point can stand up to scrutiny, which is one of the reasons he was fired...it still says nothing more than CML was handling the discussion properly. Make me the right offer and I may very well take it. Of course, what is "the right offer"? Trolling for Currie wasn't hard to script or understand in that set of circumstances. Cougfan's decision to take Currie's note at face value shows poor judgement. Particularly as a lead headline.

Yep. Vegas is giving away free money on the Cougs. Even Huskies will be betting on the Cougs.
Can't imagine this (double digit spread favorite on a 14th ranked team) NOT being a point of motivation for the Cougs.
