Well businesses adjusted their deferred tax liabilities based on the new tax rates, which affected the 2017 earnings. Some were positive, some were negative.

Deficits don't matter until they do. We've never reached that point in our modern but to act like it can't happen is beyond FS. We only get to borrow on the cheap because the rest of the world still believes in the full faith and credit of the US Government. If that changes we fuct biggy.

We have a fundamental problem in this country in that we want way more in benefits than we are willing to pay for them. And it's not just the fault of 'po people sucking off the guvmint tittays.

I didn't believe that. Now, we would get additional funds from money stuck overseas, like Apple's $250 billion. That alone would pay for his wall, but the infrastructure bill which democrats also wanted is going to kill the budget. I was hoping Trump would cut back some of the federal entitlements to offset the infrastructure bill. He hasn't, and that will bite him and us in the ass if something isn't done about that.
