Thought on guns

Criminals are stupid as fuck. My buddies pickup got broken into last summer. They were smart enough to copy his credit card and leave the card there. They even knew how to use the card at Walmart without a Chip reader even tho it's a card with a chip. What they fucked up on? They used the card at a Walmart that same night and bought a $400 TV at 5 in the morning. You know, when no one else is around and there's cameras everywhere.greenblood said:

It's fairly easy to fake your GPS location with apps and whatnot.2001400ex said:were discussing guns yesterday. He owns a few guns for hunting and fishing and is a member of the NRA.
He suggested outfitting all guns with GPS. And I'm like, most gun owners scream about the thought of a federal registry like Australia has. They wouldn't allow GPS. He's like think about it this way. They can set up the gun to be disabled in schools and malls and stuff.
It would never happen but curious y'all's thoughts. Except sledog, who is just going to scream communism.
And yes you could fake a location. But do you think people who carry out mass murders are really that smart? I mean it would weed out 98% of them.
So yes, a trigger lock or GPS would weed out a lot of people. -
Meth addicts don’t shoot up schools. The majority of school shootings are actually planned.2001400ex said:

That's just silly. This is the equivalent of flying cars.2001400ex said:

Magazine capacity control is the only realistic short term bill that could have a positive long term impact in all of this.
Yes, you could take a backpack full of 5 round magazines and keep reloading, but in close quarters that's slow boating. It doesn't stop shootings and it won't completely stop mass killings but it's a start.
GPS and trigger identity is a waste of time. The state that just suffered the last horrific event voted down any gun restrictions and voted to arm teachers. Anything other that limiting the capabilities of these weapons is a waste of time. Once the Boomers are dead these common sense issues will be resolved, but unfortunately we still have another lingering decade to munch on Member Berries. -
There's millions of magazines out there. No serial numbers. They aren't hard to make our smuggle.Mosster47 said:

I agree with limiting magazine size. GPS and fingerprints are technology that's here in almost every cell phone now. Not flying cars.Mosster47 said:

That being said, we'll never stop every one. But if we can reduce the number of deaths from 16,000 to 8,000 a year, without taking guns away from anyone, that's a huge success. -
Yes. Easy to make and easily smuggled. Heroine takes more infrastructure and is illegal but commonly available. I think murder might be illegal. I'll have to check.Mosster47 said:
