So, what happened post UA game to collapse this bad?
After Arizona we were soaring high and had the easiest part of the schedule to look forward to. Just an embarrassing collapse given what happened beforehand.

We weren't ever very good

Lack of creative offensive talent. Our best creator is a 6"8 PF who's amazing but today's game is guard driven. Nowell was our only guy who could create on the perimeter and he has played poorly of that.

The team has like 6 players that provide any sort of value at all. The beginning of the season was fun but it was smoke and mirrors. When you can't shoot you don't win in todays boring as fuck basketball.

The fucktards who thought this team was good need to die in a fire.

That’s not an issue. People who talk about depth in college basketball are retarded.CuntWaffle said:The team has like 6 players that provide any sort of value at all. This isn’t the NBA. Playing twice a week isn’t hard.
Duke, North Carolina, Kansas, etc never play more than 7 come tournament time. One guard and one big off the bench.
UW has three good players. Once we have 5-6, we will be good. A real PG and a rim protecting big are the two obvious issues. -
Against AZ, Dickerson was a beast down low. Green lit it up from three. Other teams have bottled up Dickerson since. Even OSU with that tinkle dude.
That being said, crisp still sucks. -

If one of the freshmen next year can shoot, at all, we should be a tournament team. If one of the freshman can be a distributer of the ball next year we should make the tournament. Nowell should take a step up with his perimeter game. I also assume that Carter and Wright will play a bigger role for the team as well. The seniors are what they are by now. Some of that is good (Dickerson), some of that is bad (Crisp) and some of that is good enough to help you win D1 basketball games (Green and Tisse). I'm calling that we make the tourney next year. This year was just fun to have a team show the ability to actually run a system and have some success. Next year comes expectations and for Hopkins and the senior class to deliver us from evil. -
I think the long and short of it is.... Cohen blundered. If we could somehow get Cohen to stop blundering then that would really help this team. Less blundering by Cohen would equal more wins on the basketball floor, which would in turn equal us? having a better win/loss record, which would in turn increase our chances of an NCAA tournament chinvite.Gladstone said:Did teams figure out the zone? Were we wearing cool jackets? Can we blame Crisp? Luck factor levelsetting towards the average?
