I've noticed how many SJW's and disingenuous (or stupid) media types will label anything and anyone who doesn't follow the p.c. narrative alt-right and/or NAZIs. It's sad to see how petty and stupid many of these liberals have become over the past two or three years. It used to be about real issues like poverty, sensible gun regulation, the wealth gap/checking the power of billionaires, actual racism, actual sexism, protecting the environment, not going into stupid and costly wars and the like. I'm talking even up into 2014 or so. Now it's whatever dipshit feminist, tranny activist, or cuck boy whines about. Everything is racist but let's especially target all white males and the patriarchy. Personal responsibility is low with these types. They play the victim Olympics and you get a gold if you're a transgendered 1/2 black, 1/4 LatinXXX, 1/4 Arab in a woman in a wheelchair. Tell me I'm wrong....

The converse to what you wrote is that all conservatives care about is “triggering the SJW snowflakes” and “destroying socialism” in meaningless online interactions.

The problem is, the loudest people on both sides are the most extreme. So that's all you hear is the extreme on both sides. Just like anyone who supports gay rights is labeled a communist.
