They’re gonna work on getting his OV in January, but made it clear that they can’t promise to hold a spot for him, especially since he’s already visited before.

We all know Pete likes to wrap up his class early every year. Last minute nail biters probably give him anxiety. He hates the 11th hour closure.

Why doesn’t the kid just commit already? Everyone has been saying for months that he’s going to Washington

He's been on the edge of committing for months. I bet going this route will make him jump on board in the early signing period.

Heimuli seems like this years irvin. We are probably not his dream school or the choice he thought he would make at some point, but have been the most attractive school throughout the process. Bama makes me nervous but nobody else is coming here in his place so hope we fend them off.

I'm not sure about that. Maybe at the initial time of the offer, but Heimuli has been a strong UW lean most of this process, while with Irvin that wasn't necessarily the case.
It's more about that we lead both of them for a while but neither of them committed so obviously they have something holding them back.

Irvin started getting the offers he wanted and came back full circle and his was really weird at the end so not apples to apples.

Where there is a will there is a way. People have figured out worse problems than this.

Come on, Pete. This is why you get paid the big bucks.

He could make a mid week visit, but I just don't see that happening.

He’s not missing practice the week of a championship game.

He could, but there's a dead period and he'd have to leave by 9pm that night. So he'd have to go up and back in the same day.

His family wanted him to take MULTIPLE visits and that's why he hasn't committed yet.

This completely fucked us. If it were even at noon on Saturday we'd be okay. But this is a fucking worst case scenario.

I was just stating an answer to how it could be made to happen.

I followed it up with that I didn't see it happening.

    Thus, we agree.
