Not a special win by any means, but it's good to see them win conf games on the road. Wasn't pretty by any stretch, but i'm interested to see what hop can do with a decent pac12 roster. He's doing some good chet with some marginal talent.
That was as good a coaching job, especially down the stretch as anything I've ever seen.
Every button he pushed was the right one and he wasn't guessing, he had a plan.
Two big traps out of the 2-3 look, both generating turnovers and buckets in transition, with under 3 minutes to play and then the denial of WSU's reversal on the perimeter with 20 seconds left was masterful coaching.
Before Bleenor gets around to it first, I'm gonna start lobbying for Hopkins' 10 year extension right now ... this guy has actually demonstrated that he can coach.

In other news, the stench of Romar rises up today as Arizona loses at Colorado
Miller had a quote about not being able to get his team to play hard and I immediately thought of Romar. Romar is the last coach a team with effort problems should want around.

The team actually looks like it cares for once in 5-8 years so that is pretty good... also there was a pivotal moment late in the game when Hop took off his jacket and rolled up his sleeves, dude knew he could push them to the win, good instincts, a lot of coaches would have just sat quietly in their suit on the sideline watching the team slowly give up.
