I know you're being sarcastic, but this a big problem for college football. It delegitimizes the championship when you know teams in half the conferences have no chance for a National Title even with a 12-0 record. Either move the lower conferences into their own subdivison or create a system that let's some of these 11-1 or 12-0 lower level conference champions in.
You shouldn't be considered an FBS school if your school has no chance of a title going undefeated. Cut the fat and make the FBS 60-65 with five conferences, or have the playoffs system be able to include one the 12-0 lower conference teams. Is it too hard to make it 8 teams with at least one mid major?

And in this case they beat the team that beat THE team.

I usually hate that comparison, but I'll give you one more. Central Florida had the same number of top 25 wins at Notre Dame had, and if Notre Dame hadn't lost to Stanford, they might have gotten in.

I was being sarcastic, but I actually agree with what you're getting at. UCF is no joke, in a fair world, there'd be a tournament with at least 8 teams in it, including them.

That's why Arizona State almost won the Fiesta Bowl this year too.

And that's why Syracuse should have gotten a crack at Bama.

We really screw over our military...
Army beat San Diego st. San Diego St. beat Stanford Stanford beat Notre Dame Notre Dame beat LSU LSU beat Syracuse Syracuse beat Clemson
UCF can go fuck themselves just like all the other non power conference undefeated teams did.
Utes beat THE team that lost to THE team. Shared Natty!
That was one of my all time favorite Sugar Bowls. Utah shockingly took it to Bama. The Utes had the better and more physical team that day. Very impressive win over a very good 12-1 Alabama team. Ute fans should be proud.
Except Alabama didn't give a fuck about being in that game. Beating them didn't mean much, if anything. Beat them in the playoffs and it matters. Oops....

Ya, that's right, a Nick Saban team showed up and didn't GAF about the game. You are covered in excrement wading waist high into HondoFS territory with that comment.

Why isn't Army in the playoffs?
(don't bother - I am busy flagging myself).
