If we have to put up with another Dennis Erickson looking for the promised land it is time for Leach to go. He has caused this program untold damage by entertaining these "better" offers and next year he will be hotter than this and hotter the following until the money is too good to pass up and we have to start over.
Since I am an ableist I can say what everyone is thinking. He wants to be the first autistic NC coach and really does not care where that happens. We want the first Cuog coach to win the NC and could care less if he is black, white, red or crimson on the spectrum as long as it is not purple. Wanting to be the first autistic NC coach is far more ableist than having fun with nicknames since he is serious and only cares about his condition.
If that is his goal and he will take a so called shortcut down to UT or Minnesota next year where it will supposedly happen faster and for more money, he can go down there and we can go find a coach who wants to be the first Cuog coach to ever win a Nattie. We thought we hired someone who wanted to live in Pullman and not a launching pad again.
We don't need this stepping stone insult so Coach Leach make up your mind if you want to be Crimson and Gray or only autistic and if that is your only identity, happy trails to you and hope we meet you again in the Rose Bowl.
You could unite the abled and conditioned rather than continue to divide them and you have the perfect forum to do that. Rather than autistics against the rest of us we believe in little wheat fields against the world. Then you would be the first Wazzu coach to conquer the corrupt CFB world who just happens to be autistic rather than the other way around.
