Blast from the past AANDY edition

Here is an inbox message he sent back in 2008 to the account that I use on Doogman(Apparently that account is a huge Doog too).

You infer that the tone seems to be negative. It probably is...but that is merely based on the information I obtain. This is not a good time to be a Husky. Tyrone walked into a situation that is not conducive for him to be successful. The fan base expects so much and the administration let the program fall badly. This is not a good situation for an average coach who has chosen to focus on issues not wholly involved with winning..

Even after the Oregon game this fucker was making excuses for Ty. I know water is wet. Just wanted to show this because every Doogman writer/poster denies every liking Ty or supporting Ty.

    Doogs gonna Doog.

It's ironic that he thought the fanbase expected so much though.

When I look back to Ty's 4th year for some reason I always seem to forget the part about "fans expecting too much".

In fact I'd say starting in 2003 with Gilby our fan base has been not expecting enough.

    Here's a thought:

Is it possible that the problem with the UW program sits with the baby boomer boosters that are more interested in laughing at a viagra or cialis commercial than measuring yourself based on how big of balls you have in competition whether its on the football field, basketball court, etc.?
  • 5-4 with access to sarks balls > 9-0 and a real coach

That is Kim and the rest of those fuckers fear. They are afraid Pool Boy hires a nonsense type of coach. A guy like Mora who is here to fucking win and tell idiots like Kim to sit in the corner and don't speak until spoken to.

I think you should take all those geriatric fuckers down to the intramural courts and double head fake their asses.

Seriously though after reading the WSJ piece and Crockett's comments in particular you may have a point.

I've talked to the alive DJ about this. Due to the fucking fuckingness of the admin and AD since the other DJ resigned, we've lost an entire generation. None of the new Seattle money gives a fuck.

    Koop,

There's a huge void right now with people under 30 years old ...

Problem is that the people in the 35-45 year old range don't quite have the portfolio to push the fucking blue haired farts out of the way to demand winning and excellence ...

Seattle is a front running town ... just have to win and the people will come back

I hear second hand things that come from a top five booster who's kind of a family acquaintance. He sounds almost apathetic or way too patient. The latest was that we don't have the talent... :|… Maybe he doesn't follow recruiting at all or maybe he was referring to the lines, but it all sounds disturbing.

I keep hearing that our conference is too tough now with Oregon and Stanford. Shocked they haven't connected the dots that they became what they are with good coaching hires.

Stanford never took football seriously until five years ago. They couldn't even put together three straight winning seasons. And Oregon was a complete joke until the mid 90's. That's what's so frustrating. This pussy fanbase keep hoping and wishing instead of demanding. There's no excuse not to be in the top four of the Pac-10 almost every year, and the RB every 3 or 4 years. ~X(

Even starting in the mid 90s, Oregon was generally mediocre until the late 00s and Chip Kelly showed up on conference.

Not really. They had some mediocre years (2002 and 2004 come to mind) but they usually finished in the top 25 IIRC.
