In 92 with Billy suspended we needed to beat Oregon State to wrap up the league. Easy win but Damon came in during garbage time and threw a beautiful bomb for a TD

We all looked at each other and said....we good. Brunell can graduate and Damon can step in.

    To Theron "Wonder Twin" Hill.

    Shattered doog dreams.

Damon's stat line in 1992 as the #3 QB:

    5/5 for 108 yds and a TD.

    He peaked early.

Early Damon never had to face a ranked Oregon State

Bonus question : who caught the TD pass?

Hint: became an Attorney, owned his own sports agency, his older brother a husky worked for him. Father was a mayor in a large metropolitan city.

Huard led the comeback against Cal in 93 and the Whammy even though it was more the defense.
Without Oregon 94 he'd be better remembered

    So would Lambo.

    And Bill Diedrich.

I still don't know why they can't just give KJ a legit chance to win the job this off-season. I think he would rather stay in the same system and have a chance to work with all that young talent on offense next season rather than try to go win the job at Fresno State or Montana State.

Some people say "if he hasn't beaten out Browning by now he must suck" but no matter what Pete says we know it hasn't been a legit open competition since the job was handed to Browning. Remember when Browning looked like shit in Fall camp and was throwing picks everyday? Yeah, KJ was better than him and didn't get the job.

Pretty sure it was Theron Hill. Definitely the highlight of that guy's career.

Oh, and it was mentioned earlier in the thread.
