You mean he doesn't chest bump players and say Dude Brah? Oh yeah, and he learned his style from Don James (but James wasn't that great because he didn't have to play a ranked OSU)
I always wondered what Don James could have done at USC. I think we're seeing it in Saban at Alabama.
It's funny, I thought the same thing a few years ago. A truly transcendent Coach (only a couple per decade usually) at a true blue chip football factory (only 5 or 6 of them).
I would like to see what Kelly could have done at a place like Miami, or Texas. I wanted to say Harbaugh at Michigan, but I just don't think they are as positioned as they once were for monster success - recruiting base dying, etc.
The more interesting ones are the James/Kelly types that push a school without huge levels of historic success to greatness, and then think how scary it would be if they were in true powerhouse schools with fertile recruiting grounds in their backyards.
If Harbaugh could make a powerhouse out of Stanford, he would similarly transform Michigan without a doubt.
Don't get me wrong, I think he would be good almost anywhere, but I am talking about true powerhouse schools. I don't think Michigan is one anymore. I don't think Harbaugh at Michigan wins 3 NC's in 4 years. Harbaugh at Texas, different story imo. Hell, I could coach Texas to a top 10 every year and I don't know shit.

Agree, would have loved to see Harbaugh at Michigan. It would be fun watching Urban Meyer and Harbaugh play each other every season. The rivalry already is one of the best, if not the best in college football, but it would be amazing with those two coaches.
