Interesting parallel here. Stanford's DB coach was laughing as hard at Smiff as Jimmy Lake laughs at Mike Leach's offense. Same exact thing. Predictable as fuck. Easy to prepare for and easy to defend.

Defense has carried the offense all season long. On a night when they couldn't, the serious offensive deficits got exposed and highlighted, finally. Should've happened at ASU, but all the post-game talk was about missed field goals and shit.
