We're almost three full seasons into Browning's career and he has won zero competitive games against quality opponents. ZERO. Every time the game is competitive in the second half he shits himself. He hasn't even gotten an impressive win just by pure luck.
His Freshman season they were the epitome of average. Blew out every shit team and got beat by every competitive team. His Sophomore season he shit himself against Bama, Colorado (bailed out by running game and defense), USC, Utah (bailed out by Pettis), and Arizona (bailed out by Coleman). This season the only two competitive games so far against respectable teams he shits himself both times and they lose.
The most impressive second half performance of his career in competitive game came this season against Rutgers with the help of Gaskin who made a couple of phenomenal catches. What do you do with a QB who can't perform in the second half and win you a game when the other team isn't utter garbage?
Yes. Anyone with half a brain has known this for over a year. He cannot perform against a quality defense/opponent: he can blow out bad teams but completely falls apart against good ones.

We basically contained Love most of the game, and their skill guys and QB aren't anything special. Costello was missing plenty of throws in the first half. Coaching definitely matters. Everyone knew what Shaw's strategy was and it's his strategy 99% of the time - shorten the game and grind it out. We couldn't stop it and couldn't adjust. The second half was abysmal.
