Run first attitude. Would get this offense humming.
We can fix the QB situation. We can fire Smith. If Malloe fucks up recruiting, can his ass. The DL has been good since this staff has been here and Boise State had a couple great DL's. Kwiatkowski knows what he's doing. I'm not sure if Pete will fire Smith and Malloe, but that's another issue.
One of Pete's best attributes is being an offense oriented coach who actually cares about defense.
Commit to being the toughest team in the PAC 12. It's a soft conference. Add a grown man, NFL QB and we can compete for titles.

I don't know much about him, but his wiki page shows him having OL coaching experience and QB coaching experience, and of course, RB coaching experience.
